Permanent Recruitment

• Standard fee: 12% of annual salary

• Introductory offer: 25% off for first-time clients (rate: 9%)

• Guarantee: Free replacement within 8–12 weeks

• Terms: No placement, no fee

Temporary & Contract Roles

• Hourly or daily rates agreed in advance

• Weekly or monthly invoicing

• PAYE, umbrella, or client-handled payroll options

• Holiday pay and pension arrangements depend on contract type

Project & Retained Recruitment

• Discounted rates for multiple roles or exclusive partnerships

• Includes shortlisting, screening, and branded advertising

• Flexible support for high-growth businesses or ongoing hiring

Summary of Terms

Permanent Roles

• Invoiced on the candidate’s start date

• Payment due within 30 days with further 5% discount for payment within 14 days

• Free replacement or sliding refund if the candidate leaves during the guarantee period

• All candidates are pre-screened and submitted with permission

Temporary & Contract Roles

• Clients are responsible for legal compliance and working conditions

• Where HMJ acts as intermediary, a separate agreement will be provided

• Signed timesheets required for billing

Retained or Project Work

• A clear service agreement sets out deliverables and payment stages

• Work begins on receipt of an initial retainer or first invoice

• Discounts based on role volume, exclusivity, or contract term
